High School Academics
Academic Policy
We encourage our students to succeed in all things that they do, and early on we show our students the opportunities they have to succeed in achieving one of our diplomas. San Gabriel Academy offers a General A, B, and Honors Diploma. Requirements differ for each diploma. Students are encouraged to do their very best, and supersede the minimum requirements, which will place them in a better position for acceptance into the college of their choice.

This study track represents the minimum graduation requirements for the State of California and the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists. Students graduating under this diploma are seeking to attend community college and trade schools. Successful completion of each required course is of stronger consideration rather than the final cumulative GPA score.

This study track is recommended for students who are considering studying in the Cal State, other State, and Adventist University systems. California State schools will not accept any grade lower than a "C" in a core-subject area.
