BYOD (Bring Your Own Device)

All students enrolled at SGA are required to have a personal laptop or iPad for classroom use. All devices must be turned off and put away during chapels and assemblies. At no time will a student be permitted to use a cell phone in the classroom, including for the purpose of class work. Earphones may be used with express permission of the teacher. Parents wishing to contact students during school hours should contact the office or contact their student during lunch.

We appreciate the importance and ubiquitous nature of technology in the fast and mobile 21st century world our students will enter after graduation. However, education is a uniquely human experience and we honor that by also deeply valuing relationships and putting inspiring faculty in front of your children each and every day.
